We have extensive experience in appeals from registry proceeding through first instance appeal and through the Courts. We are often able to negotiate settlements on behalf of our clients cost effectively with minimal disruption to the business.

We assist with cease and desist letters and are often able to resolve issues without issuing proceedings. We can advise on a litigation strategy, instruct counsel, arrange the issue of proceedings, deal with the evidentiary stages right through to trial and any appeal. We can provide staged fee estimates at specific stages of the dispute in order to provide budget certainty for our clients.

We can also assist with litigation support services through our relationship with our trusted suppliers.

We can work with our client’s preferred counsel if desired. We have also developed good relationships with the IP bar in New Zealand and Australia, so we can also recommend a number of cost effective and appropriately experienced counsel for the dispute at hand.
